We collect information to provide you with a smart, collaborative wedding planning experience.

A. Information You Provide

  • Account Information: When you sign up via Google Login, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture.
  • Wedding Data: This includes event dates, budget details, expense records, vendor names, and payment statuses.
  • Guest Information: Names, contact details, and meal preferences of your guests.
  • Collaborator Data: Email addresses of partners or family members you invite to your dashboard.

B. Automatically Collected Information

  • Usage Data: We track how you interact with our features (e.g., creating events, generating AI images) to improve the user experience.
  • Device Information: IP address, browser type, and operating system.

C. Content Generated via AI

  • Prompts & Inputs: Text you input into our AI Assistant (Gemini) and image generation tools.
  • Generated Output: The schedules, budgets, and images created by the AI.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data for the following purposes:

  • Core Functionality: To organize your tasks, budgets, and guest lists.
  • AI Features: To generate smart suggestions, dependencies, and images using Google Gemini.
  • Collaboration: To enable real-time sharing with the users you explicitly invite (e.g., your partner or parents).
  • Communication: To send you automated reports (PDFs), login alerts, and important product updates.
  • Transactions: To generate UPI Intent links for vendor payments (Note: We do not process payments directly or store bank account passwords).

3. Data Storage and Security (Supabase)

We use Supabase as our Backend-as-a-Service provider to securely store and manage your data.

  • Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest within Supabase's secure cloud infrastructure.
  • Authentication: We use secure, token-based authentication (via Supabase Auth) to ensure only authorized users can access your data.
  • Role-Based Access: Our database implements strict Row Level Security (RLS) policies. You are the only owner of your data; it is only accessible to you and the specific collaborators you invite.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with third-party services necessary to run the app:

  • Supabase: For database hosting, authentication, and file storage.
  • Google (Gemini AI): We send specific prompt data to Google's AI models to generate text and images. This data is processed according to Google’s API data protection policies.
  • Collaborators: If you invite a "Viewer" or "Admin" to your wedding dashboard, they will have access to the data you choose to share.
  • Public Links: If you enable "Public RSVP" or share an Invitation Link, the specific details on that page (Venue, Date, RSVP Form) become accessible to anyone with the link.

5. Your Rights

You have control over your data:

  • Access & Export: You can view your data at any time via the dashboard. You may export your Guest Lists and Budgets to CSV/Excel formats.
  • Correction: You can update or correct your wedding details and profile information within the app settings.
  • Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us. Upon deletion, all your data is permanently removed from our Supabase database.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your login session. We may use anonymous analytics tools to understand site traffic, but we do not use tracking cookies for third-party advertising.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. If you delete your account, your data is removed from our live systems immediately.

8. Children's Privacy

VivahSphere is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
